  • How are your items shipped?
    Shipping: We ship all packages using USPS First Class or Priority. The time ranges presented for delivery are approximate and we try our best to ship quickly and get your goodies in your hands sooner than estimated. However, please keep in mind that everything is handmade individually. Many things may delay delivery, such as weather, traffic, union strikes, government shut-downs, local carrier methods, and customs procedures (for shipments outside the USA). What if your package does not arrive? 1. First, double-check that the shipping address you included with your order is correct. 2. Check USPS.com for the latest update on the tracking information we’ve emailed to you. 3. Speak with your mail carrier, and/or file a claim with your local post office location. International shipments can take from 1 week up to a month to arrive, much is determined by your country’s customs department processes, and on your local delivery service. Please consider your local USPS delivery service and select a reliable shipping address. If you provide a shipping address that is incorrect or undeliverable, we are not responsible. We are not responsible for packages that are stolen or damaged after delivery. If we ship your item(s) Priority this provides you with $50 of insurance. If you would like to purchase additional insurance, please contact us ahead of time. First-Class Postage DOES NOT come with insurance. Standard Estimated Ship Timing: US - First Class - 4-10 days US - Priority - 2-3 days Outside US - First Class - 2-3 weeks (depending on your customs clearance and local delivery service) Outside US - Priority - 7-10 business days (depending on your customs clearance and local delivery service) Holidays and extreme weather may impact your shipping time.
  • How do I pay for my order? Is it secure?
    Absolutely! Transactions can be made securely online through PayPal or Stripe; accepting all major credit and debit cards. Your information will never be shared with any third party, and the information collected is solely used to contact you about your order if necessary.
  • What is the refund and return policy?
    If you need to cancel an order, please do so within 1 hour of making the purchase to receive a full refund. Refunds are strictly not accepted after this time frame. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind item; returns or refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us within 14 days of receipt if you experience a problem with your order. We do not offer refunds or exchanges after this period. There are no refunds or exchanges on earrings due to hygiene reasons. Custom orders will NOT be refunded or exchanged. In the unlikely event of your item being defective in any way, please contact us at 1stuffnthangz@gmail.com within 14 days of receipt and provide clear photos of the defect. Your issues will be reviewed via email on an individual basis.
  • I have a custom request. What do I need to do?
    If you would like to place a custom order, you can either send us an email or book a consultation. If you are unable to meet at your scheduled time we do ask that you reach out to us first before rescheduling your appointment. All custom orders require a non-refundable deposit that is applied to your purchase upon completion.
  • What will I expect during our consultation?
    We will discuss your request, processing time, cost and terms and conditions. We will NOT reproduce another artists’ work. We will not start your order until we receive your deposit. There will be no returns on any custom orders. Once your custom order is ready you will receive an email from us stating that your order is ready. The turnaround time for most custom orders is 10-15 business days. During the holidays this time-frame may increase.
  • Can you share information about your products?
    Some of our inventory is RTS (Ready to ship) items while others are made to order. By booking a free consultation we can also customize some of our inventory for you. Each item that we sell is uniquely hand crafted. We try our best to recreate certain pieces, but no two items are identical. We ask that you take that into consideration when ordering. Most of our items are created by using resin. Resin items can often take multiple pours before they are complete. Once cured, the pieces are removed from the mold and carefully sanded and polished by using various grades of sandpaper and polishing tools. Most metals we use are nickel-free, made of stainless steel, or sterling silver. If you have a preference feel free to contact us before placing an order.
  • What are the care instructions for these products?
    Avoid storing your piece of jewelry next to a strong heat source or in direct sunlight. This may cause fading over time. resin is strong, durable, and waterproof. However, it is recommended not to wear the items in the shower or swimming pool, and refrain from spraying perfume or other alcohol-based products near or on the piece, to preserve its original condition. A soft cloth can be used to buff the piece and bring out its original shine. It is advised to do this after each use, to prevent natural body oils or lotions from damaging the surface of the resin, and to keep the piece in best possible condition. The surface is liable to scratch in cases of extreme misuse. All earrings and pendants have their posts/bails secured with a layer of resin to ensure they will not break away from the base. It is advisable not to tug harshly on chains or bails. Each item should be treated with love and care to ensure its longevity. It is the customers responsibility to care for their items appropriately. If purchasing an item for a child, we recommend that they are old enough to know not to put the item in their mouth.
